A polyhedron is a 3D solid with flat faces, straight edges, and sharp vertices. They look extremely cool. I developed charts to visualize regular and semi-regular polyhedra and how they’re derived through an independent study with RISD Design Science Extraordinaire Carl Fasano.
Book of Tessellations

I created a colorful book of tessellations, or patterns of geometric shapes tiled on a flat plane with no overlaps or gaps. The book showcases many different types of tessellations, from archimedean to penrose.

A jitterbug is a kinetic geometric object that twists and changes shape. I developed a version of the flat square jitterbug for fun.
You can make a single module by printing out this pattern. Cut out the outline, fold along the outlines, and glue the triangle edges together (where the flaps are). Try playing with it! The blue parts should fold the way the blue parts fold in the gif.
To add modules, you can continue tiling like this:
