I took Scientific Illustration at the RISD Illustration Department to learn how I could leverage traditional illustration methods to communicate natural structures and phenomena.
Mushrooms are strange and enjoyable to draw.
I worked in a group of 3 to illustrate the anatomy of a horse. I personally drew the layer depicting the superficial muscles.

I took Design for Play at the RISD Industrial Design Department to learn about play behavior, the benefits of play for learning and community, and how we can design products and services that promote play.
Driven by my love for fiction writing and geek culture, I designed a speculative card game called Fabler that breaks fictional stories into building blocks: characters, plot devices, world building, and themes. It imagines different ways of dissecting, analyzing, and reconstructing iconic stories.
I used a minimalistic style in illustrating the various building blocks to provide just enough information that you’d recognize their iconic origins.
